  9.  @ChrisM-tn3hx  All true, but a two-party system is deeply, deeply entrenched with each party having an extremely elaborate national “infrastructure.” It’s pretty close to impossible to overcome except for the occasional outlying “Independent” getting elected. Independents always caucus with Democrats or Republicans, depending on their overall views.
