Man, I feel bad for Pat. I hope Intel makes it and Pat can have a nice retirement.

@ruzhujiang3398 I know that financially Pat and his family are probably fine, but just as one person looking on the works of another, I feel bad he spent so much of his career at Intel, including getting the company off the ground, and at the very end got forced out as he was trying to turn things around.

@vajona2495 Oh dang. I was planning to buy some more Intel stock at some point, but if there's really going to be a bunch of DEI stuff, then I'd rather not throw money away...

@vajona2495 Are you saying that's what Intel's leadership is going to replace Pat with? Do you think that's what the two co-interim CEOs are? I have essentially no knowledge of the situation so I'm genuinely curious.

@GPSniper1 lol no I'm not, and I didn't even realize he'd been let go until I randomly saw the news today. I just feel bad for the guy, and the possibility of Intel going under and hurting competition.
