  1. I watched William's game theory 101 course and I think he mentioned in one of the first videos that he refers to player #1 as "he" and player #2 as "she" to help keep things clear. As far as I know clarity is the only motivation behind referring to the players as having different genders.

  4. Yeah I totally agree. Ironically, I think jvgama's second sentence "Unfortunately, I think [it] is redundant." was redundant itself. That thought just occurred to me as I was reading the comments, and I felt like I wanted to point that out in some way...
