the US chief export is inflation, the resource producing nations of the world will align themselves away from our system over time. There will be a period of deglobalization, then a new order which will not be based around the US dollar.

@EconLessons we are going further into debt for diminished returns. Our progeny will be placed into receivership, this is the ultimate in taxation without representation. They will not receive the benefit of profligacy, but the will be forced into repaying odious debt.

@EconLessons your nation is dying right in front of your eyes and you are unable to see it. The system of paper money that is being destroyed is the US dollar system and all that you have worked and sacrificed for is denominated in it. And you assume that tyranny and chaos won't follow in the wake of its collapse, you're not assesses outcomes very well. Our currency will become anathema because of what Washington is doing and no one will want to transact in it.
