Comments by "US Debt Implosion" (@timcampbell2023) on "Russian Economy - US Dollars Compared to Russian Dollars Spent on Geopolitics" video.
3 trillion dollar a year deficits and increasing quick. IMF issued a stern warning to Washington about the spending. Japan is no longer buying our debt, Inflation is starting to go back up... and we are spending the younger generation into perpetual debt slavery

@EconLessons If you are a real person, in the real world, trying to raise a real family in this environment... you are in real trouble

@EconLessons be real Mark, if you are a young person coming up now, what are the costs? You compare your situation to what young people have to deal with but you know there is no comparison.

@EconLessons and the federal government has gone completely insane with their spending - you are aware that this is an unprecedented redistribution of wealth? I thought you were opposed to marxism, yet this is somehow not an issue, I find that strange

@EconLessons recent article broke down the cost state by state - to raise a family of 4, in Florida and provide a decent standard of living costs 209k per year for a family of 4. What about once inflation is has run its terrible course? And it will only keep going up. In Massachusetts it will cost you 300k for the same family. In Alabama, about 190k. So, I won't be having a family any time soon, the cost of living isn't coming back down Mark, and as someone in the private sector I get no COLA for my business - I earn my money through blood and sweat only to have the Federal government rob me of my labor. But the younger generation who are being spent into debt oblivion is my issue. Start all over at 20 years old in 2024 and start a family from scratch and let me know what your experience is. I can assure you it will be much different than coming up in the golden era of American prosperity. We are heading for an inflationary catastrophe that will decimate the middle class and anyone trying to have a family will have to take tremendous risks in the days to come. Many will come to the conclusion that it's economically not feasible considering the current cost of living. You are not the younger generation. You have had a 30 to 40 year head start to accumulate resources during an ideal period in American history.

@EconLessons They need you to work for the dollars that they tax and inflate. They then acquire their assets that are immune to inflation - it's awesome to be elite ain't it?
