  69. Our fiscal situation is deteriorating so rapidly that no technology is going to save us from this particular issue which is a moral/spiritual one. Not a myriad of robots, not a myriad of illegal immigrant slave laborers. We could have a just and equitable money and credit system here in America that would give everyone an opportunity for prosperity but human greed and evil will prevent that until Christ returns. Technology affords many benefits but it also brings immense tragedy, one successfully engineered biological weapon could wipe out multitudes. As inventive and creative as the human mind is at solving problems it seems to have a keen focus in the direction of effectively killing. What about EMP's and Neutron bombs? Amazing tech if you're a psychopath. You said 33 trillion in the last video, I just checked and it's over 33.5 - what happens when interest payments surpass federal tax revenue? You should address that. We have two hot wars on deck and they will try to push out more spending packages for Ukraine and Israel. Other wars will soon break out. World War is already here. You don't think Taiwan is coming? Expect more black swan events very soon. The standard of living for younger generations is falling rapidly. If there is a demographic winter you can start with the cost of living. Most can hardly afford to live in this nation, much less have a family. Depopulation and de-industrialization is the game plan. And as such, the people running the show don't really care if technology benefits us in any way. They've already been shown to suppress it. We are being conquered via debt slavery.

  109.  @EconLessons  I'm not talking about the debt slavery oblivion our government is spending the masses of unborn citizens into, that's not what I'm talking about at all. MONEY IS DEBT. Money comes into existence as commercial loans made by banks with interest attached in the form of debt. Money they created out of nothing, this is fractional reserve banking. This means new credit money must be created to service the interest on previous debt... fractional reserve banking is highly inflationary during periods of credit expansion. This is the crime against the environment and humanity. If new credit money is not created, there is a shortage in the system and that means assets are forfeited back to the banks, who created the money out of nothing. That is occurring right now. That and what the US government is doing, taking us into war for zionism when we can no longer afford will cost us dearly. Political zionism is a curse upon this earth. During WW1 Britain fomented arab nationalism to overthrow the ottoman's and one of the promises they made was to the Zionist for state. Problem is, they stole that land and claim biblical right of return. This is nothing biblical at all, but we are going to fight to the death over political zionism. How much do you think that will cost? Zelinsky will turn against the US now as his funding begins to dry. The Ukraine issue is obsolete to DC now. There is a new war baby in town? This is exciting! Washington birthed another endless taxpayer project right out of it's rear, what next?

  111. I'm one of the ones calling for peace. Western democracy and its military industrial complex is just as imperialist as the autocratic capitalist east - both sides would like to dominate the world but we are deglobalizing into a multipolar order, the west cannot prevent it. Each side will have to learn to settle their differences or there will be no end to the bloodshed and human suffering. As divisive as Russia is, every advanced nation in the world is engaged in the scientific manipulation of the masses, it doesn't make sense to not see that. American propaganda is far and away the most advanced and heavily funded. Are you suggesting might makes right and that only our propaganda tells the truth? Control, domination, lies and manipulation is evil regardless of who is doing it. If you equate Putin to Hitler and use that as your basis for refusing negotiation then the outcome could be more tragic than Britain trying to negotiate with Hitler. Chamberlin was at peace with Hitler, Russia and Ukraine are annihilating one another. Russia has a lot more people than they do and Ukraine will run out of people long before they do. They are completely different cases. If peace negotiations fail, then they fail but if there is success lives are saved. But if you never make an attempt then it is a complete failure. Our printing press is turning Ukrainian soldiers into cannon fodder and the war machine lobby doesn't want it to ever end. You don't acknowledge these things but they are out in the open for everyone to see, the corruption and injustice, the brazen shame of it. There is a system being enriched by their blood and the destruction of our currency. Its a brutal reality, but there it is. Calling Putin Hitler is unhelpful, nor is it accurate. Calling Russians orcs is too ad hominem, they are part of the human family and no different than any other person caught up in the tragedy of war. They are human, why demonize? There are good and evil people on both sides, it's person by person. Why not acknowledge both sides have their positions for why they are doing what they are and assess with balance and work from that point... towards the end of bloodshed. You will never reach peace by calling the other side subhuman and demonizing them. "When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die." - John Paul Sartre

  143.  @EconLessons  it still comes down to brute economics, the money isn't there, so we borrow way beyond what we have. If recession hits and they have to lower interest rate then they will have to monetize the debt and take people's money by inflating the money supply. Our government is trapped, they don't have the collective will to get us off this path to financial ruin. If they want to spend money on endless war, fine, then they will have to make the hard decision on what to cut elsewhere. Like I said before, you can't print and spend your way out of this, it won't work. By eliminating war and policing the world you have removed a significant expense. Eventually we will be forced to. They are destroying the currency. Is the war in Ukraine worth ruining the future prosperity of our own nation? Now we have a generation of young American's who can't afford to buy a house, raise a family, etc. Average real wage growth has not increased since the 70's. I'm not married, neither do I have a family of any sort. If I did I would be in trouble in our current economic climate. Reality is, whether we fight with Russia or make peace it may change very little in terms of what will ultimately happen here in the US, the policy makers are suicidal and will continue to spend us into debt oblivion regardless of what the budget line items are. It just so happens that one of our current items is contributing to a lot of bloodshed and as someone who cares about humanity I have no other thought than it has to stop by whatever means possible as soon as possible.

  165. Governments hate deflation, especially heavily indebted ones. They can't tax deflation but the individual benefits from increasing purchasing power even without an increase in income. They dread it, it is an existential threat to the ponzi they have set up. Central banks and governments love inflationary policy as it allows wealth transfer via dilution of the money supply, an invisible tax. They wont and cant tolerate deflationary policy by design. The FED mandate was last changed in 1977, after we came off the gold standard a few years earlier. That is around the time the fiat petrodollar system was being firmly established. The money supply afterwards took off. A policy of inflation makes alot of sense from the perspective of tax revenues. With commodity backed money it would work differently, i think the inflationary policy fits with the debt based fiat system and what the central planners want to accomplish. Edward Bernays was hired by us government in the 40s to create a religion around consumerism. It all ties together nicely. You live on a neo-fuedalistic plantation. The slaves take care of their own needs this time around and are controlled through the system of taxation, inflation, consumerism and wage slavery. Also, another point, in our debt based system deflation causes the whole system to implode, new debt has to be created to service the old debts interest you seem to look past that. This is why you are about to see a wave of foreclosures and defaults. If that wave gets too high prepare for massive civil unrest.
