It did look like their were doing their damndest to save his life. Because it would look bad for Putin to have him killed. Like the Assange situation looks bad for the Americans

  4. There are no indications that he would. He has declared his intentions from the start, and kept to them. Russia doesn't attack, it defends, and never loses when it does. It's clear that there is a nostalgia for the former great Russia, united, but I don't think beyond naturally Russian provinces. The situation of the satellite states between WW2 and 1989 was an unfortunate outcome of the war, that is slowly being restored to its natural being(Poland, Hungary, Rumania etc) and there is no reason to expect Russia to try to reconquer those. Like it was stupid of Finland and Sweden to join Nato. Result: immediate mobilisation on both sides. While as Putin would have liked to be part of Europe, and NaTo, but gor snobbed

  5. The money towards Ucraine doesn't all go into weapons. And Ucraine can't win the war , no soldiers left. So the next step is to call in British soldiers. Putin is not going to expand beyond Ucraine. Riley is all off
