The selegiline patch he was using did require some pretty serious dietary restrictions. Users of that medication need to avoid tryptamine which is found in meats and cheese. It can have life threatening side effects if those dietary restrictions aren’t followed. Not sure if he’s still taking that medication in jail though. I doubt he was using it for a legitimate reason.
