  1. Hes not “on our side” but thats not the point, his audience is the left and even hes pointing out they are insane, thats very important and influential. Id be willing to bet hes literally the only voice or way they are hearing what the rest of us are saying. Leftists arent listening to these podcasts or anything outside of their echo chambers. Maher is a leftist speaking some truth to other leftists. We need that.
