Constant campaign mode would keep them in line If the electorate would pay the fuck attention and vote them out when they get stupid. Thats the actual solution to this. Imposing term limits might open a pandoras box, wed lose the few good ones we have and we can count on the dems going after the SCOTUS for term limits under that precedent. The solution is voting them out and financial. No reason they should be paid so lucratively. A salary cap, no more then the average middle class income in their respective states, would weed out the bad actors in it for the wrong reasons while allowing the good ones to stay if we see fit that they should imo.

Not paying close enough attention to what these career politicians were doing and not voting them out of office. As the Founders warned, we got the government we deserved. Never trust them, never take your eyes off of them and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.
