I hope this mother really knows she absolutely did the right thing. Even if her child didnt come back to her, she did everything she could do to protect her. Everyone is talking about the consequences of not indulging the delusion but they never say what happens when parents do the opposite then have to answer to their child saying how could you let me do that to myself, you were the adult, the parent, why didnt you stop me from destroying my life.
