Everybody from CA commenting about how nothing this is. Please consider this is NYC, 9/11 ground zero. If I was there and suddenly the building was shaking my first thought would be something much worse then what it actually was too. I can see how people would have been jolted by this in a different way then the rest of the country.

@rasta487 Thank you. Im so annoyed people comparing this to other parts of the country/world like thats even relevant. A 4.8 in NYC is a big deal because it never happens. A city with some of the largest buildings in the world having an out of the blue 4.8 warrants attention.

If CA got hit with a Nor’easter or EF 4 tornado it would also be newsworthy. 🙄
