  1. That doesnt work. A lot of people have mental health issues like ptsd because they were victims of trauma or violent crime. How does it make sense to say they shouldnt own firearms. Reality is you cant prevent someone from suddenly becoming violent. The world is unsafe, you only make it more dangerous crying for the state to do whatever possible no matter how unrealistic or overbearing in attempt to achieve 100% safety. It is not possible.

These are not the same rifles used in the military, they do not have the capability to fire in bursts therefore they operate no differently then the “hunting guns” you are okay with. So “assault rifle” is not a thing. They are more effective at longer distances but handgun rounds are much more lethal. The world is unsafe, get over it. And maybe arm yourself lol
