@E_Clampus_Vitus I have never heard of an average joe (not an escaping politician) anywhere in the world, much less the US move to a place that does not offer personal freedoms. many expats leave the US so they don't have to pay taxes, and/or live in a place where their dollar is going to get farther (places like the Philippines). having said that, no average joe other than Alejandro Cao de Benós de Les y Pérez (look him up), moves to a place like North Korea, pakistan, afghanistan, iran, irak, syria, gaza itself, somalia, libia, venezuela, nicaragua, cuba, to name a few, even though in such places the US dollar much like in the Philippines, goes farther.

@E_Clampus_Vitus I don't know if my previous answer posted for I can't see it, so here it goes again:
I have never heard of an average joe defect the US or any other country for that matter, other than Alejandro Cao de Benós de Les y Pérez in North Corea (look him up) or a fleeing politician, move into a place like North Corea, pakistan, syria, iran, irak, gaza itself, somalia, libia, venezuela, nicaragua, cuba, to name a few. when your average joe in the US moves (not defect), they usually move to a place where their dollars goes farther and they don't have to pay the US federal income tax, and even though they could move to the above places, they move to places like the Philipines instead, because they still have freedoms similar to those in the US.
