Chaves was making it rain when the barrel of oil (oil they can't even refine themselves) was running high, then the barrel of oil went down so Chaves stated "nationalizing"/taking over private businesses in an attempt to diversify their market and failed, they started to control the free market pricing on things which also failed, then maduro got handpicked to be his replacement, he kept doing the same things expecting his luck would be better, he started printing money like a US Federal reserve... sorry, I meant to say like a mad man, which of course lead the bolivar to suffer a hyper inflation, and he did all of this while appointing side made up government positions to counter the democratically elected real government positions won by the opposition, and now we have millions of Venezuelans fleeing their own nation ruined by two one Venezuelan (Chaves) one an actual Colombian (maduro) individuals. What a success story
