  2. the fact that you are telling me that things are better in cuba after the soviet union dismantled, let's me know that you know absolutely nothing about cuba. not even when in early 2000s (until now) with the support of venezuela and the oil they get from them has made things better for cuba. don't get me wrong. I would not get aids like that, but the fact that these people chose that option much like the option others chose when they made floaters to cross the ocean (with a lot of them dying in the process) in order to get to the coasts of florida. all of those are signs of people taking drastic measures in order to get a better life somehow
