I flew on Singapore Airlines. My airplane ticket said, "Death penalty to drug traffickers" on it. I was surprised but I didn't have any drugs so I was not worried. This was many years ago. That is too bad about this intellectually disabled man though. I don't know if he could understand what he was doing.

@friedrice0922 Sexual assaults and rape affect all of society as well. It is harder to be a good mother (or father) if you are assaulted. That affects the next generation. Some who are abused go on to abuse others. This passes from person to person and affects society. Abused people are more likely to be addicted to alcohol and drugs. (They want to kill the pain.) This affects society.

@Raphanne I was a tiny bit scared because I had a lot of medications on me. But none were addictive.

@aunWWc This was in 1997 and it actually said it on my ticket. I wasn't visiting Singapore. Just flying Singapore Airlines. I did stop in Singapore for a 6 hour layover. I don't recall even doing a customs declaration form.

@theyoungg1590 They won't put a mentally disabled man to death for harming children in Singapore if Singapore doesn't put people to death for rape.

@dixieechann That is too bad. And scary because drug treatment didn't look like it was voluntary in Singapore.
