@am5790 Ha ha, in the 60's the old people were really upset with the "lazy" no good hippies. The older generations seem to hate the younger generations going back a long time ago. Even the ancient Greeks said it.

@DarkAngel2512 Maybe some people use it that way. But minoritiies is a commonly used term in the USA and is not just academic jargon here. Sounds like you use it differently in the UK.

I have caught people saying bad things about me in Spanish... I am not fluent but I know enough. But people say bad things in English also. I have extra good hearing and have overheard stuff. Just realize that people will say good and bad things about you in any language.
