  1. If Jeff had participated a lot more in the murder I would agree. But since they both seemed to participate equally it would make sense for him to get out as well. I guess he was screwed for being over 18. Maybe he should get a somewhat worse sentence for being over 18 but life in prison seems too excessive compared to hers.
