  2.  @zlpatriot11  You can have a savings account just don't save much in it. If you go over $2000 dollars in total assets they will take your whole check for every month you went over $2000. Even if it is $5 over. My check is being cut back about $100 a month for years because I saved too much money during the Covid shut down.

  3. Did you ever consider that some of them are mentally ill? Overall mentally ill people have a harder time getting jobs than physically disabled people.

  4.  @unboxedcharacter  You are confusing SSI with SSDI. They are two different programs with two different rules. SSDI has much laxer rules. SSI is strict and you will be penalized for marriage. I am on both SSI and SSDI. They are very different.
