When I went to Mexico coke and bottled water (which I was told the Coca Cola company had a monopoly on) were the same price. Make bottled water cheaper. Tap water isn't safe.

Diet soda is horrible for your body. It is no better than regular soda.

@mikevenecio6312 Cane sugar is slightly healthier because it doesn't spike your blood sugar quite as high as high fructose corn syrup. It is still very bad for you, though.

@janeblogs324 I was told that bottled water was safe to drink when I was in Mexico. Tap water was not. So bottled water must be purified if it is tap water.

@mikevenecio6312 Coke and bottled water often cost the same in Mexico. Tap water isn't usually safe. So if Coke is same price as water guess which gets bought?

@Dirty Lettuce But Dasani water by Coca Cola is the same price as soda.

@dylanbyrum Coca Cola sells bottled water there (Dasani). They decided to charge the same price. If Coca-Cola cared about the community they would sell their water cheaper and soda for more. Instead they inflate the price of water.

@mikevenecio6312 Where I was Coca Cola controlled the bottled water prices as well. For Coca-Cola to charge as much for bottled water (Dasani) as Coke is evil. They knew the population has undrinkable tap water. They had a monopoly on the bottled water. They made the water expensive on purpose. It cost as much as in the USA.

@dylanbyrum I was in Pachuca.

@mikevenecio6312 Yes, Mexico. The people said Dasani, which is owned by Coca Cola had a monopoly on the water. Glad no one has a monopoly where you are. Personally I think Dasani is the worst bottled water that I have tasted (plastic flavored) but it is better than getting parasites from the tap water.

@mikevenecio6312 Collecting roof water may not work in desert areas but could work other places. Definitely corruption is a problem.
