I have Autism, ADD, and this eye problem. Plus some mental illnesses. Fun times! 😞 Just try to find other weird people and forget the normal ones. The cool normals will show up. The rest aren't worth wasting your time on.

@genki2705 IF you can hide a disability in the first place it will help with superficial interactions. People can't hide things like disabilities forever and then other people will be angry for you not being honest with them and/or that your personality has changed or is inconsistent.

I saw double more when I was tired also. I still see double occasionally.

Depends how many operations you have, plus how they turn out and what other treatments you use.

You are playing tennis in 2D instead of 3D. It just means you have to work a lot harder to get to the same place.

My brother has nystagmus and I had a friend who thought he shook his head because he was disagreeing with everyone she said. I told her no, he has an eye problem.

My guess is his parents didn't think about it. But maybe that's because I have the same problem and that's how my parents were.

If I use both eyes I will see double. I have the cross-eyed version of strabismus.

No, you need weird pills.

@joeshmoe8539 Why? Most people get it before age 5. After age 11 or so the surgery will not work (for correcting your vision).

@joeshmoe8539 Strange... My parents didn't want me to get the operation.

 @nvaravind5394 Good luck to you!

Everyone has it better than someone and worse than someone.

@skelly8185 Obviously. I have those eyes and 5 other illnesses. I have been hospitalized only once for my eyes and many times for my other problems. The eyes are a problem growing up because other kids tend to be very mean. Severe bullying can lead to other problems including suicide. Not everyone with these problems is severely bullied though. The thing is that more than 99% of personal problems people talk about are not super horribly bad. That doesn't mean they shouldn't talk about it. I was interested to hear his story since I have the same problem (even if he was a little overdramatic about it).

@bella61567 I didn't know you were talking about him specifically. Look at his baby pictures. His eyes were crossed before he got the surgery. Edit: Also, I think he mentioned his family was taking some photos that didn't show his eye problem.

Don't feel shame you normie. Just treat non-normies like human beings.

We can't see in 3D. I wore an eye patch to strengthen my weak eye.

I have strabismus also. We do have problems seeing. We see everything in 2 dimensions. We just learn to work around it.

@unbenannt7771 Yeah, I had to skip 3D movies. I was worried that all movies were going to become 3D...

Not ALL people have a disability. But many people do.

I also have this problem. When I was young I was scared of going blind. I don't think it is very likely at all.

I never got an operation when I was little because my parents didn't believe in it. I got such bad headaches from seeing double that I got an operation at age 17. That was horrible but fixed the headaches.
