  3. I take antipsychotics. The wrong ones for you are torture. Being on too much is torture. But lower doses help me. Also, if you are harming other people then serious decisions have to be made.

  8. I hope they took those cats away and got counseling or something for the lady. Otherwise she will just hoard more cats again.

  9.  @Joeblogs999  If you get a head injury (from a car accident or something) you could become violent. Same thing if you got a brain tumor. This probably won't happen to you but it could.

  16. Cats can fill part of the void, but these women all seem to still be missing something. I have a cat and love her to bits but I still need healthy interactions with humans. For the two cat hoarders no amount of cats will fill their need.

  18. Taking medication sucks but it can be the lesser of two evils. I prefer medication to staying in mental hospitals. The key is finding a medicine and a dose that you can tolerate.

  24.  @christar9527  Actually, I have been in 10 mental hospitals in the USA. Some are good. Some are horrible. But one of the best was the state hospital's adolescent unit. The adult unit in the same hospital was bad. The worst psych hospital I was in was a fancy private one.

  29. I knew a rich couple with a spotless house. They had 12 cats and a big house and it still stank. I love cats but too many is too many.

  31. That's the problem, you can't take good care of tons of cats in your home. Volunteer to help cats or help raise money for a cat shelter.
