We definitely need to stop holding up a bunch of entitled narcissistic parasites as role models to pattern ourselves after meaning stop holding up what today's current definition of success is as the end-all-be-all goal for everyone to strive for and we absolutely need to flip our inverted priorities back to something resembling a healthy prioritization of everything and rethink our current Paradigm of using people and loving things because that's also backwards. Previous generations knew this and somewhere along the way someone dropped the ball by not passing along this knowledge to the younger Generations because I had to figure it out for myself nobody thought it was important enough to mention I guess but that said I have a lot of faith in humanity because when properly motivated we do amazing things and will again once we're properly motivated. The problem is it fat comfortable content and apathetic are not our friends because we're a little overcoming machines who thrive and are out of best when we're facing adversity so when things get bad enough that we can no longer tolerate it will find the right motivation and I think once again make the most of our potential I just hope it doesn't require a population crash and billions of people dying before we finally decide to get off their asses and do something about it because we have to. This is a very wise man everybody should take heed and I 100% agree with the sentiment that if we rebuild the institutions of family and Community everything else will fix itself because that's how we came so far so fast Conquering the entire Globe in less than 25,000 years after leaving Africa because that was no accident and we didn't get to where we are by undermining our neighbor at every turn for short-term personal gain and we are social beings not because we like being social because I think the opposite is true but rather out of necessity because we're completely useless without each other and our current situation of fragmented lives is not conducive to progress.
