  4. If the administration representative ask "Explain the issue" after launching huge tariffs could indicate there is some level of amateurism. I would expect that measures any government would be well investigated to consequences that will follow. But true with the democrats may frequently be a bit "vonnoben". I think it was Mike Murphy (anti-Trump republican) who suggested that democrats should try and stop sounding like a sociology professor who give lectures to their students.
