  1. a recent interview with John Bolton give that Trump may not support Russia but he could favour Putin if he believe he is friends with Putin, probably similar with Nethanyahu and Israel. Some of the MAGA Christians like Charlie Kirk and those think they want to go back in time. And perhaps they think diaper Don being a mobster styled leader talking "tough" on a world stage going to get their way is such a delusion. I disagree with Bolton on a lot but I can think he is right on how Trump function (or rather dysfunction). Trumps belief that the monster style talk tough even wrecked his little hotel empires and casinos butt he think it will be working just fine to organisations as complex and larger scale as countries? His paranoia about "the deep state" is likely also doing it's part, if he think Pentagon betrayed him by not helping him at the Jan 6 riots he might perhaps strive to exchange the whole department, get rid of all staff with experience and expertise and replace them with loyal TV grifters and personal business acquaintances. But maybe it is a part of breaking up USA into a number of independent states, if they ran in with slashing huge chunks of federal government functions while the same federal government had commitments it will not be able to fulfill? Or does anyone else have an idea where they might be striving with this?Kirk & company's ideal of the 50s seem a bit off to what they do and how.
