@Bat_Boy Yeah but he was sort of "coachable" by the experienced staff he did hire, even if the attacks threw him in another track than he initially had ambition to go with his presidency. I heard an interview with John Bolton who pointed out that Trump often don't care much about the information the specialists at the various departments supply him with, he watch TV and mainly FoxNews to inform himself. And Bolton also reflected on that a politician need not come in with specific knowledge in some field but if they are not that willing to acquire insight it's very difficult to work with them. Obama was the opposite, he could receive a 5 page memo and quickly went trough it and asked for more info.
