@litkeys3497 Yes, but in general the protests were quite peaceful from the side of lefty workers. And the violence from the government controlled forces in Sweden of 1931 were unarmed workers were shot eventually led to a turnaround. And that probably was to some extent that the workers and unions before that had upheld themselves pretty well, they had strived for education, Even during the "riots" during WWIs rationing they were careful to pay for the food they forcefully bought when there were some abundance of groceries but rationing quotes went missing in attempts of set up rise in prices by speculation. Storeowners, bakers etc had a common interst with the workers, they didn't want their commodities to grow mouldy on the shelves because some knuckleheads in Stockholm tried to jack up the price of potatoes in an artificial way.
