  1. @PoM-MoM It used to be more common with 23 K and 24 K for engagement and wedding rings but since gold (and silver) are somewhat soft metals it can mean that engraving and decorative pattern wears off.

  2. But....what are you after with this post? Brass is an alloy and thus it is man made unlike the single mineral or metal that can be found as such.

  3. ​​ @user-kpkxgtj They usually display the purity, a 14K gold item have other metal mixed. This may be because of having the item not having signs of wear soon by everyday usage, gold is the most malleable of the metals. So yes, if you wear 18, 14 k gold items or lower you have man made metalalloys, it's not "pure" gold.
