  1. The effect of the medication is that they eat less. That is the mechanism that make the medication work. One could think that the incitament to watch what you eat would be greater if you have a serious illness compared to just wanting to lose weight.... But a lot of diabetics wilfully sacrifices their limbs because they can't give up the apple cakes, pancakes and syrup breakfasts. Hell, the top brass in the diabetic association are headhunted from junk food companies like Kellogs.

  2. ​ @KateyMajor People can be malnourished despite they are morbidly obese. A lot of morbidly obese people are deficit in B vitamins and iron.
