Lol, it's not exactly like that getting rid of little dog figurine and the antique razor in that lovely box does much for creating needed space. They are sellers on ebay who sells peoples clothes, shoes, bags and such on comission. I'm certain that the lady have clothes gathered for over a decade which doesn't fit yet still could give a couple of quids per item. It looks like fairly well taken care of and could be of interest for those into vintage clothing even if it not brands from the most posh fashion brands. The razor can be a beautiful decoration in a bathroom. And getting rid of things not worn for six months as the narrator states is rather useless rule of thumb. You'd throw away all summerclothes in february and vice versa and then have to shop new just to add to a lot of landfill...or do they presume people buy only trendy clothing in poor quality that last only one season?

@samanthaabreu782 Though the reason for changes are the prestate, if not first stage, to hoarding. They want the cange because the stuff is pushing them out while people in Hoarders often percieve that the house as is is what they want. The strive for change is surely that it's becoming difficult to live in their homes, a potential fire hazard with mountains of clothes almost blocking doorways, isn't it? There's a channel where one woman from Finland cleans out homes that are really dirty and messy (Aurikatariina) . The people aren't in the show but the background in those cases have often other mental illness compared to horders or other who purposefully save different stuff. Neither with the delusion of seeing all junk as useful or overestimating the worth of what they have.

Yes, thought the same, beautiful items, tend to "disappear" when there's too many of them.
