  2.  @fabienneclavier5984  Yes, I recall seeing an episode of the amercan version of "Hoarders", in one hose where the "junk clearance" team discovered that the walls had started to give in.

  3. That is with proper antiques maybe (i. e. items 100yrs or older). But a kitchen cupboard should also be fairly easy to keep clean and chipped or flaking paint or laquer is somewhat beyond shabby chic I'd say.
