The greenlanders probably don't want to participate in what can possible be seen as an act to decieve the american voters to believe that greenlanders want to belong to USA, if this was for purpose to be political PR for Vance's political career. It's hilarious they could not find one greenlander to participate in some article where they welcome them in their home.

  2. It's difficult to be completely silent in democracies where you'd think that voters would want to know their elected officials standpoint on the issue. Especially in times where there is such widespread access to news outlets where Europeans can see the statements made by American officials. Even if I can guesstimate that a lot of the noise maybe is for purpose of presenting something of ambition and decisiveness to their voters I would though appreciate to know my governments standing on the issue (while still keeping their cool and distance though)
