So Chad felt trapped under the stairs...isn't that like a reference to that older houses often had like an adjacent closet under the stairs and that kids often got fantasies of trolls living in that closet (because wooden stairs often make noise when temperatures drop lat night). But when I hear about these people I wonder if it actually was some sense with the religious persecutions in Europe in the late medieval and early renaissance. One could see how disruptive to society as a whole if ideas like this would be spread around and taken on by larger groups of people.

The court should have microphones that could be worn like artists have in a headset or snapped on like a "mosquito" as actors often have even at amateur theathres. To hold the microphone deprives them of a natural bodylanguage.

@carinaekstrom1 IDK, I'm sceptical bc there is not so much that indicates with certainty that the victims had been exposed to much of suffering as such. I think it looks like plain ego and greed but that they tried to drape it in some religious veils to try and make it morally digestible to themselves and maybe others (and not giving up what money they would lose by simple divorces, if Lori would have given up custody of the kids that now were in the way for her romance with Chad). The typical superficial vanity of people who estimate themselves to be great thinkers.
