@lorrainecampbell4641 I've been thinking that as well, if he abused her since she was such a small child he could well have gaslight her to not knowing anything fault about it, that nobody would believe her, that people would be angry with her etc.And while she becomes older she would surely realise with time that he is at fault and to blame but if she was pregnant it would surely be more difficult to hide and explain away, accusing her of lying or such.
