Why should countries negotiate when the starting point look like something the nirth korean presssecretaty's kids could have made? Not only are the so-called reciprocal tarrif basedon flawed numbers where USA removed services where they have trade surplus. Also with not working within WTO, negotiating country by country promotes corruption. But I suppose since Marco Rubio got that deal with El Salvador'sprison USA is on full route to really become a banana republic. And hence they think that regulations about food safety is a trade barrier. Or maybe USA already view themselves as a 3rd world developing country if Navarro is out there suggesting that EU should get rid of their VAT (sales tax).
