Thank you, as always, for the lesson. Western hunter gatherers, in my humble option, seem to have filtered into western and northern Europe in small groups coming from southern Siberia, the western Pontic Stepp and the Black Sea area as the climate allowed. There were probably people moving back and forth for trade and encouraging others to follow. These different groups mixed over thousands of years developing lighter skin and eyes. These changes occurred long before the much larger Stepp migrations. Best Wishes to you Steven.
