  3. derbigpr500 that isn't the point, the point is the evoque is compact size and Range Rover sport is mid size, there's literally no reason to add one more in between.

  4. range rover sport is mid size and competes with the likes of x5, GLE and cayenne (which btw is also mid sized, same as vw touareg). range rover sport did grow bigger now, it used to be on the discovery platform. A full size is merc GLS, range rover, q7 (all over 5 meters long). The macan is also compact size btw, as are the audi q5 and vw tiguan (all share the same platform). Land rover now has 2.5 compact suvs (evoque, discovery sport and this in-between velar)
