  1. I know this might be hard for some people to understand, but schizophrenia is a thing that exists and that does increase tendency to violence. Alec never tried to defend his actions on the basis of insanity, he didn't plead insanity in court, he sounded nothing like the parkland shooter who actually tried to do it. In fact, he was clearly downplaying it when he talked about communing with Kendrick, saying he WASN'T crazy. He also literally wanted to be killed, which is proven by the fact that he asked the security guard to do it in a situation where the guard could absolutely have done it. So saying a guy who acts schizo and trying to commit suicide by cop, was faking his schizophrenia to defend himself, has got to be one of the stupidest takes on the matter so far

  2. That's why a good investigator will always establish a baseline. The justice system isn't quite so stupid as to not understand that neurodivergence exists. Though I'm sure some individual interrogators are, but that's what lawyers are for
