  1. It would be interesting to do a history check on each of these settlers to establish what they had in the US and if they have been subject to criminal charges that they are escaping. Residency in these regions is exceptionally affordable for anyone escaping a criminal justice system. There has got to be a reason for them to move. If they were law abiding citizens in the US and contributed to the economy, there would be no reason for them to resettle unless alternatively it was due to coercion
