@ladydiana885 Now, I refuse to start up the car to go shopping, I take a trolley and walk. Rain, hail or shine. I see some children walking to school although most people drive their children and pick them up in 4W Drives.

I also know loads of people that live in suburbs that walk to train station or bus stop and commute to and from work that way. It means not getting up at the last minute and struggling to get to work on time. In snowy areas, there is always the option of working from home (this has happened since Covid anyway). So many alternatives. In Australia we have snow and frost during winter too in some parts of the country. Where there is a will there is a way.

@ladydiana885 Australia, although my Ancestors walked in knee deep snow to school and back. I also walked to school and back in 45C heat for up to 7 KMs or I took a bus. Good exercise.

None of these stories seem real. I suspect the Hamas attack was manufactured on a movie set. Watch some of the witness reports, they look like they are reading off scripts.
