Pigeon .FX In the Crimea they are a minority buddy, look about Crimea's history, it was won by Russia from the Ottomans. Only in 1950's by a Soviet Dictators whim it was given to Ukraine. Notice how many ethnic wars occured after the Soviet Union collapsed. Armenia vs Azerbajian, Georgia vs Abhazia and Ossetia. The Balken wars. Mark my words if the Russian troops leave, the majority of the local populations who are "Russians" btw will fight the troops of Keiv. Maybe it will be very bloody like the Balkens or like Northern Ireland.

They lived 23 years ok, well so did the people of Yugoslavia, Azerbajians and Armenians etc. Yet they went to war. You can't say for sure what will happen in the future.

AreEx78 If they become majority say in 100 or 50 years, and want independence, or self determination, then yes I would say yes. People and ethnic groups reduce or die off, happened in history and will continue. Lets say for arguments sake the Mexicans in 150 years become 80 percent of the population in US, Should the Whites etc control everything and the rest of the population? Does this make sense to you? Pigeon .FX I guess I am going with the European settlers argument, and the Tatar as the Native Americans. Lets see, hmm the start of the killings and expulsions began in the 1600's and continued into the 1800's. While the issue with the Tatars happened in a short time after the legitimate concern, and with evidence I might add that many Tatars were collaborating with the Nazi's. Hmm Now Stalin did remove many from the Crimea, but many are settled in Tataristan, Actually place look it up, in Russia. Now I may not be an expert but if they prefered to stay in Tataristan, that is ok. Did thousands die? yes so did millions of Russians, Germens, Jews, etc. Wake the fuck up it was WW2 I am simply showing how both US and Russia are not free from past issues in terms of ethnic population reductions.

Why the hell should they leave if they are the majority in population? That is like saying the Palestinians should leave their homes, where they lived for centuries. BotanixB Let me tell you something the UN is a powerless organization usually. They could not stop the Balkan wars, nor wars in Africa, Afghanistan, middle east. They had a few success yes but overall it has many issues. If the Russian Troops leave Ok, What should be next? Remember there are lots of Cities in Eastern Ukraine which are completely outside government control. Just recently the Kiev government tried to send some big time oligarchs are governors in the East, they failed big time. I am sorry but history tells me countries break up. And I see a lot of issues here that are similar to Yugoslavia. here is my reason. If the Russians leave how will the Kiev government made entirely of people from Midian will deal with issues of Crimea which has lots of Russian Navy who provide jobs to the local economy, And have same race as the locals. Also the east? They are try to add them in the government but that WILL lower their Power. So they will not do that. They can send Ukrianian military. but what will happen then is what happened to Yugoslavia groups form, and war starts. Also the Ukrainian economy is kaput at the moment, and the IMF deal will further increase prices of GAS, Food etc. and the privatization will lower stability of jobs. More fuel to the Fire. You see now the full issues buddy.
