  2. @ Because the Bulgars fought the Arabs to defend Constantinople. I would ask the Bulgars if they want power and access to the Mediterranean Sea, then I would help them get all of the Levant. I would give all Italy to Lombards and make alliance with them against Arab Egypt. I would ask the Slavs if they want riches and power and have them in North Africa and near Iraq Iran border, give them land and trade routes. Make alliance with them to defend them and help them against Arab campaigns.

  3. @ the Arabs were a true threat of the Byzantines took notice. No need for them to be in Italy. I said give All of the Levant to Bulgars, Aleppo Bulgar city, Damascus Bulgar city, Jerusalem Bulgar city with religious rights protected.
