Because corruption is what they all have in common and is why they never go after each other on corruption! Secondly, the impeachment proceedings served exactly what they were intended for! Political theater! It's their way of "pretending" to oppose Trump, while passing most of his agenda behind the scenes! It's a one party system with political theater and elections as make believe!!

When Jimmy started going after the squad, first I thought he's too cynical and is not charitable to them, but after months and months going by Jimmy's points became more and more obvious and the squad kept failing to show any plan or fight they were ready to engage in, instead they adopted typical democratic approach to politics of screwing their constituents and gaslighting them.   35. I think his positions are informed by the situation in Tibet. Chinese government is flooding Xinjiang and Tibet with Han Chinese ethnic group to change the demographics and make those regions uniform with the rest of the country, basically erasing native non-Chinese cultures, languages and religions therefore killing any chance of secession or autonomy. So, it makes sense for him to have a fundamental disagreement with migration as he wants to preserve Tibet from disappearing through Chinese mass migration. He'd come across as hypocritical by having the opposite view on European migration situation. However, there's big difference between the two. European countries can decide on how many people of what backgrounds they'll allow to stay, but the Tibetans are being forced by Chinese to become a Chinese minority and lose their distinct culture.
