The poorer and more desperate the American worker gets, the more they have the ability to reduce wages and make working conditions harder and fire anyone for any reasons and the more compliant the workers will become, when there are no other opportunities and there’s a queue of poor people needing a job waiting for someone to get the boot!! As someone who’s in the know, almost all Iranians who left before or right after the revolution are people who had wealth and connections to the monarchy and left for fear of reprisals and losing their assets. These people have zero positive things to say about the revolutionary government. This is not a good government, but I think it’s reflective some of the bad aspects of Iranian society and culture. And let’s not forget that the US has put sanctions on Iran and crippling its economy as well as supporting Iraq in the 8 year war. So, US didn’t do anything positive for Iranian people, but made them suffer and die more, just like the rest of the Middle East!
