  1. 9:46 why would you make a 170 km city of 9 million when you could serve them better in a circle as they’re not 170 km away from both ends? 500 m tall and only 200 m wide!? 200x170,000= 34 km2 land use. Roughly 1/4 San Francisco. So, they could’ve gone with much smaller footprint and then make a desert forest around it to make the weather more bearable by vegetation cooling the air in the surrounding area…

  2. I think buying some land in Latin America or Africa with better weather and environment would’ve been a better bet. You can’t turn off the sun in that region when you have 120+ (45 c) degrees every day summers! And Saudis better make sure to bribe every nation in the region to peaceful coexistence or these resorts would be all empty from fear of regional conflicts… Too many ifs and buts! But I appreciate the vision and the prospect of peace in the Middle East to enable a brighter and more hopeful future for the region!

  3. 10:20 well excuse me! Does the US and EU go around the world building anything, let alone for free?? So, why Egypt pulling out their checkbook to pay the Chinese for the construction is somehow a crazy concept and represented with a malicious connotation?? China is the only country building these large infrastructure projects! US can’t even build itself a proper fast rail system or anything for that matter!

  4. 6:56 “… turned towards the future” with a 400x400x400m cube!! The wording couldn’t be more like a pun on the fact that all Muslims pray towards Kaaba 🕋!! It’s the little cube that Muslims turn towards to pray to their god! This 400m cube reminds me of the golden bull that the misguided Jews started worshipping… I’m not a religious person, but ignore the ironic nature of these projects! Modern day Tower of Babel?
