  6. 9:26 Dave Cherkewski is validating my thoughts on this issue. I've given the universal income some thought as well as society with strong social safety net and I concluded that the outcome would be much lowered stress levels and the ability of the individual to escape the fears and stresses of "survival mode" and get a chance to calmly explore other possibilities that could bring them purpose to their lives as well as utilizing their unique qualities and talents. And it could uplift a community's mental health and happiness levels. But we'll never know for sure, because cynical arse holes will look at the few lazy people and generalize it to the whole population and in the name of saving taxpayer money, shut down a revolutionary idea that could be the future of the economic system.

When a public service is suggested, but I've never heard any of these "fiscally conservative" folks ask that when it's extra military spending or additional tax cuts. And these "pro-life" people never feel bad about killing innocent people with bombs or letting 40,000 uninsured people die from preventable causes. Or the fact that single payer health insurance will reduce the cost of healthcare for the whole nation.
