  9. More Zeihan nonsense! Iran is a very mixed country and is that Iranian pie made of many minorities. It’s is not “the Persians” ruling the country against other minorities! This is the kind of superficial “insight” you get from an American know it all who has never been there, looks at a bunch of maps and reads a bunch of articles in the mainstream western media and becomes an expert on the subject!! Iran has been ruled by various Turkish dynasties for at least the past 800 years and there were only three exceptions, the Zand dynasty, Pahlavi dynasty and Islamic republic. Azeri people have very high representation in Iranian government and armed forces. They’re probably over represented based on their numbers. It is partly geographical location of capital Tehran as well as generally more developed part of the country is where they are and cultural differences. Ethnic groups like Baluch and Kurds are under represented as they’re on the far borders and they’re also a minority Sunni. There other ethnic groups who have low representation Lur and Turkmen for example. These people have been living peacefully for hundreds of years and the new wave of nationalism and separatism is largely supported by foreign powers trying to weaken the nation. Saddam Hussein famously called Iranian ethnic groups to rise up against the regime, but they all fought him to defend Iran against his invasion. US is the chief instigator of ethnic and religious tensions after the English. Divide and rule! Everyone in Iran is Iranian! “ People who you call ”Persians” don’t define themselves as such! They refer to themselves as Iranians. The absence of an ethnic background means you’re just a normal Iranian!

USA on the other hand is the only country that reserves the right to do a preemptive nuclear strike! Do you understand what a terrible policy this is? It is what could end humanity! China and Russia as USA’s designated adversaries have to lie awake at night and watch their satellites for a possible US nuclear first strike!! It is the one of the most irresponsible policies! US has oceans around it which will give it 30-45 min lead time to find out if an intercontinental ballistic missile is coming their way, but China and Russia have to watch out for the US bases surrounding them and NATO Allie’s with nuclear launch capability!!
