  19. If you want to learn about Russia-US relations and how it never worked out, watch professor Jeffrey Sachs interview with the Duran. He describes how the US wanted Russia to fall apart and didn’t lift a finger to help them transition from communism, thus leading to the oligarchy and economic misery for them in the 90s. And Russia did want to join NATO, but US refused them. And Russians pointing missiles at the US sure is a response to the US pointing missiles at them. Part of the Cuban missile crisis that you never hear about is that USSR placed missiles in Cuba in response to the US placing missiles in Turkey! Peter’s facts and analysis are way one sided and US propaganda!

The civilian casualty rate is very low in this conflict. Most is because Ukrainian troops hid in the cities and amongst the civilian buildings instead of meeting the enemy on the field! Hiding military equipment near civilians is a war crime, because it makes the area a legitimate military target which makes the Ukrainian forces war criminals when these unfortunate events take place!

Supply of fit men to be trained into soldiers is limited and tanks need 6 month training for basic competency! And these tanks need to get within 2 miles of the enemy to fire at them in a war where the Russians have absolute artillery dominance and can hit you from miles away. negotiating would've been better for everyone except the weapons industry!
