  2. You might wanna to increase the size (double) of the air filter intake box and the surface of the air filter to allow more volume of air entering the carb. The biggest restrictions from your setup was the intake area where the OEM air filter & box combo can only allow the max of air volume it was originally designed for. Therefore you sees no gain . A homemade air tight double the size OEM filter or dual air filters and box combo may solve the issue. Since you already have too rich fuel mixture. The only other bolt on modification you needed is to increase the diameter of your exhaust pipes or just disconnect the whole thing if you can tune the engine or play around with it. Sometimes advance the OEM engine timing just slightly for optimization of spark also helps. The OEM exhaust manifolds should also upgraded too with performance headers due to OEM design exhaust restrictions. Not to mention same goes for the intake manifold. Things starts to get expensive and complicated to gain more hp just to gain 10-20+ hp.
